NUXART

NUXART @ COMMONWEALTH GAMES (GLASGOW 2014): REQUEST FOR PARTNERSHIP / SUPPORT.
The Art exhibition at the Commonwealth Games (Glasgow 2014) is proposed to be held at the DISAPORA MINI VILLAGE from July 23 to August 3, 2014.
This special event will serve as an avenue to empower Nigerian Youths/Creative talents and to showcase Nigerian Arts at the World Stage. It remains our belief that such exposure, especially to members of the International Sports Family / Community would inspire our participants to become SPORTS/ARTS AMBASSADORS who would start encouraging Nigerian Children and Youths to strive to bring glory to Nigeria in the future through sports and various aspects of the Arts.
With the theme "Sports and Arts: A Partnership for National Transformation and Integration", the Exhibition seeks to bring together Fine/Creative Arts Undergraduates and Artworks from about 82 Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria (and some seasoned Artists as MENTORS) to exhibit, interact and cross fertilize ideas and, in the process, creating exposure and wealth through the sales of their Artworks (Paintings, Sculpture, Craft, Textile, Photography, Jewelry, et cetera).
NUXART has held eleven annual editions and eleven special editions in London (UK), Lagos, Abuja and Delta States over the years, including the special editions held at the London 2012 Olympic Games and at the 18th National Sports Festival (EKO 2012) - as the OFFICIAL ART EXHIBITOR OF THE GAMES.
